Spencer Savage holds a bonfire twice a year. He does one in May to kick off summer and then one in September that ends the summer. I was able to attend the one that ended the summer this weekend. There was a good turn out of about 35 people. The fire was huge, friends were great and the weather was perfect. My favorite part of the night was when there was just a few of us left and the fire was dying down. That is when you can truly just look at the fire. I asked the question; "Why is fire always so mesmerizing?" Spencer replied with the best answer. He said; "Because it is one of God's creation." It was a really good night.
